The Difference between Stock and Option Trading

When one wants to purchase a stock in a company either stocks or options can be used. The main  difference between them is the amount of money needed for your investment.

A person that trades stocks buys shares of a company and then tries to sell those shares for a profit. For most people the amount required for trading or investing  in stocks is not affordable. However there is another option for people who want to invest or trade on the stock market without investing a lot of money, this strategy is option trading. Option trading can offer a trader a greater amount of leverage over stocks.  In fact Sally one of our su bscribers turned $70 into $600 within 6 weeks with just buying one single option that we recommended !!

If you want to purchase a particular stock, but it requires too big of an investment, you can buy the option instead. The option gives you the right to buy the stock at a later date. The option represents x amount of underlying shares of the company . On  US markets one option is equal to 100 underlying shares of the stock of a company.

Options are similar to stocks but differ in their cost and risk. Both stock and option trading involve  risk. One can make a lot of money with stocks and option trading, but with stock trading your risk of loss is greater. Both the risk involved and the initial amount invested are lower in option trading then in stock trading. When trading stocks, a trader buys a stock and they usually hold on to it until it has risen in value. The trader then can sell the stock for a profit. If a person buys a stock with the hope that it should go up in value, but instead the stock declines in value the trader will have to sell the stock at a loss. There is no other way to get rid of a stock that is declining rapidly (crashing). Option trading differs in this respect, since an option can expire, and the only loss would be the premium paid for the option ...
